Missioned by Applify for HubSpot - Setup Guide
Overview
Missioned connects AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud marketplaces to HubSpot, in both directions.
- Into HubSpot. Leads and opportunities from AWS Partner Central are transformed by your own field mapping and created as HubSpot contacts and deals.
- Out of HubSpot. Two cards on the deal record let your sellers create a cloud marketplace private offer or submit a co-sell referral without leaving HubSpot. Status syncs back onto the deal.
Sellers keep working in HubSpot; Missioned handles the transformation, compatibility and delivery so nobody has to re-enter deals in AWS Partner Central.
Before you start
- A Missioned account with at least one cloud marketplace or co-sell connection configured. Book a session if you do not have one.
- HubSpot permissions — a Super Admin, or a user with App Marketplace install permission.
- HubSpot edition — the deal cards work on any edition. The workflow actions require Sales Hub Professional or above, because workflows are not available on Starter or Free.
The app is free to install. A Missioned subscription is required to transact.
1. Install the app
- From the HubSpot Marketplace listing, click Install app.
- Choose the HubSpot account to connect.
- Review the permissions and click Connect app.
Missioned never reads or writes marketing email, forms, files, or any object not listed above.
2. Connect your Missioned account
The app is installed but not yet linked to your Missioned workspace. Until you do this, the cards show “Connect Missioned to use cloud GTM.”
- In HubSpot, go to Settings → Integrations → Connected apps.
- Click Missioned.
- Click Connect Missioned.
- Choose which Missioned workspace this HubSpot account belongs to, then you are returned to HubSpot.
You do not need to uninstall and reinstall the app to connect, or later to reconnect.
On completion Missioned creates the Missioned cloud GTM deal property group:
These are standard HubSpot deal properties — usable in views, filters, reports and workflows like any other.
3. Add the cards to your deals
HubSpot does not place app cards automatically. This step is required before anyone can use the integration from a deal.
- Open any deal.
- Click Customize → Customize record.
- Choose the tab where you want the cards.
- Click + Add cards, filter by App, and add Missioned — Cloud private offers and Missioned — Cloud co-sell.
- Click Save and exit.
4. Configure defaults and field mapping
Settings → Integrations → Connected apps → Missioned
- Private offer defaults — default contract duration, and how long a buyer has to accept (1–90 days).
- Write status back to deals — turn off to run Missioned read-only; no Missioned deal properties are updated.
- Deal field mapping — choose which HubSpot deal property supplies each Missioned field. Unmapped fields fall back to what is typed on the card. Mapping matters most for the workflow actions, which have nobody to ask.
5. Using it day to day
Manually, from a deal
Create a private offer. Open the Cloud private offers card → Create private offer. Choose the marketplace and listing, confirm buyer email, amount and term. “Create and send” emails the offer to the buyer; “Save as draft” holds it in Missioned for review. The card shows status as it advances — Queued, Sent, Viewed, Accepted, Released — and offers Re-send email while an offer is still open.
Submit a co-sell referral. Open the Cloud co-sell card → Submit co-sell referral. Choose the partner program and referral type, and describe the customer need. The card blocks submission and tells you what is missing if the deal lacks an associated company, a company domain, a contact email or a close date — every cloud provider rejects referrals without them.
Automatically, with workflows
Go to Automation → Workflows → Create workflow (deal-based) and add Create cloud marketplace private offer or Submit cloud co-sell referral. Fields sourced from deal properties are read from the enrolled deal, so one workflow serves every deal. Each action outputs an ID and status you can branch on.
Enrolling by pipeline stage is how most teams ensure every qualifying deal reaches the cloud provider without anyone re-keying it.
6. Disconnecting and uninstalling
Reconnect
If a card shows “Reconnect Missioned”, the authorization expired or was revoked. Open the app settings and click Reconnect. Your field mappings and defaults are preserved.
Disconnect — and what happens to your data
App settings → Disconnect. Then:
- Syncing stops immediately, in both directions.
- Stored credentials are removed from Missioned.
- Offers and referrals already created stay live in the cloud marketplaces and remain visible in Missioned. Disconnecting a CRM integration does not withdraw commercial commitments.
- Your HubSpot deal properties and their values are kept, so reconnecting later restores everything without data loss.
Uninstall — and what happens to your data
HubSpot → Settings → Integrations → Connected apps → Missioned → Actions → Uninstall. Then:
- The cards and workflow actions are removed from your account.
- Any workflow using a Missioned action becomes invalid and will need editing.
- The Missioned cloud GTM deal properties and their values remain on your records — historical offer and referral status stays reportable.
- No HubSpot contacts, companies or deals are deleted.
- To have Missioned erase data held on its side, email support@missioned.ai.
Troubleshooting
Data and privacy
- Missioned reads the deal, and its associated company and primary contact, when you open a card or run an action.
- Writes are limited to the
missioned_*deal properties, plus deals and contacts created from AWS Partner Central records. - Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are held in AWS Secrets Manager and never exposed to the browser.
- Every request from HubSpot to Missioned is verified with HubSpot’s v3 request signature.
- You can request export or erasure of your data at any time by emailing support.
